Mike Taylor grew up on Long Island, NY
Growing up very athletically gifted, he has excelled in a number of sports such as Baseball, Soccer, Hockey, and Football and extreme sports. It wasn't until he was exposed to acting in 6th grade, that he knew he wanted to become an actor.
After an extensive sports career, he began taking classes at The Barrow Group and The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute to hone in on his acting craft. It is here he realized his potential in acting and began acting and modeling regularly.
Performing in notable plays such as Fool For Love (Eddie), and The Glass Menagerie (Jim) among others, his favorite role was playing Johnny in Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune.
Recently, he has just finished shooting the feature film "1 Angry Blackman" portraying Jimmy, the heartfelt jock. Shot and produced by Emmy/Oscar winner Hans Charles, he hopes to see the film premiere at The Sundance Film Festival in 2018.
When he is not working, he enjoys working out to stay in shape and healthy, writing, and doing any activity involved in the outdoors.
